Omg best thing to have on earth because it hep use survive from natural catastrophe. Thing i got to suggest is to add sharp spinning weapon that can easily be blasting aside it to slicing zombies!!!
I don’t agree with a lot of the things people are saying. I don’t think that is it very ‘sustainable’ – you mention that it runs on solar power but haven’t diagramed or explained it any further then mentioning it. You could have diagramed this in the exploded axonometric. Also you don’t mention anything about dealing with waste. I don’t see this as a ‘safe house’ I see it more as a safe vehicle with cramped living conditions where the inhabitants would go stir crazy.
WOW!! You can see the immense amount of thought that went into this project. I would definitely feel safe in this during the zombie apocalypse! Creative, precise and unique. Got my vote!
Dan,I love your insights and find they always resonate with me. I patrciularly enjoyed this one and am going to forward it to a team within our company that really needs to hear this message. The timing is perfect. Thank you.Val
Very interesting idea. I am highly intrigued by your creativity. May I ask you a question though; what happens if a zombie gets on top of the track? Are the people still safe?
The people are always safe in the zombie blade! Even though the monorail travels 10 meters above the ground and cannot be reached by zombies! there is a fail-safe trap door in the entry of the monorail car for possible intruders.
If the zombie gets onto the track the sharp blades that encompass the safe-house will grind it to pieces!
vicious bro!! i love it hard almost as much as I love zombies. those zombies aint gonna be goin nowhere next to dat chill. If I were a zombie I’d be mad angry yo. props. What kind of goods are provided in the safe house? glucks
Thanks Zombie Chix!
The monorail safe house provides 2 apartment suites that each sleeps 8 people with a washroom, kitchen and living room. It is fully stocked with canned food and has an upper level deck with a greenhouse to grow fresh produce.
I knew you were cool when you bent down to take a picture with me so I di87d#&21n;t look short. :)But seriously, thanks for the mention in your post. I am honored. I tend to be a bit shy in real life and it takes a bit to get me warmed up. And just as I was getting there, it was time to leave. Damnit! Next year, though, fo sho!P.S. You and your fanny pack rock the house. xxoo
I can’t believe you’re not playing with me–htat was so helpful.

I donĀ“t know how someone would dislike it

It’s a fascinating concept. I would feel very secure in this house. Who gets to choose the decor?

If one of them brakes down, you have a permanent gridlock. It’s a death trap.
But the safehouse moving along an escape-network is a neat idea, I’ll give you that.
thats why there are protected maintenance stations situated along the route!
See the section drawing above.

looks like a very cool idea, i like the shape of the safe house especially.

Loving the energy efficiency! Spectacular. Just wonderful. Superb.
It’s very sleek and sexy. Very aerodynamic. Does it double as a boat? Because that would be awesome.
