This project seems to treat the situation as ‘real,’ which lends a sense of maturity and urgency to the design process and narrative. Because of this we are able to imagine a real post-zombie-uprising world and an architecture that addresses the ensuing ‘crisis.’ very impressive!
Its simple yet very functional and practical. The designer thought about more than weapons and escape. He Thought about the well being of the people that will be staying, and the people who are just passing through. And I love the ladders idea, no stairs.
